DOOR FAN TEST – FIRE PROTECTION ENCLOSURE AIR LEAKAGE TESTING

We offer performing enclosure integrity testing for rooms protected by gaseous fire fighting systems. We conduct door fan tests according to ISO14520, EN15004 and NFPA 2001. We calculate “hold time” for all gaseous extinguishing agents, both inert gases and halocarbons (IG-100, NOVEC 1230, HFC-227, C02 etc.).

We have been certified by Retrotec Inc as having completed a study courses and exams for Level 1 and Level 2 – Enclosure Integrity Certifications.

Our offer includes:

  • singular or multiple-fan blower door testing;
  • air leakage localization (using pure smoke, thermal cameras or thermal anemometers);
  • technical advising and sealing work;

ABOUT DOOR FAN TEST

Door fan tests are used to estimate effectiveness of gaseous extinguishing systems. Gaseous systems are mainly used to protect objects that can not be exposed to the action of traditional extinguishing agents such as powder or water. It is used in IT-rooms, data-center, electrical equipment, medical laboratories, archives, museums etc.
